When it comes to vintage Tudors, they don’t come much rarer than the iconic and highly sought-after Ranger. This is an interesting reference 7966 with matte black dial with shield logo and painted lume Arabic quarters – Tudor’s answer to the Rolex Explorer. And we can’t forget those cool and unique to the Ranger hands. What a cool watch!

The case remains in great condition all round with good thick lugs and a clean smooth bezel. The matte dial is in great condition with nice yellow patina on the hour markers and hands. The watch has a date wheel. This Ranger is fitted with a Tudor Oyster bracelet, reference 7835B, and has 361B endlinks. The watch has an automatic movement as signified by the word ‘PRINCE’ on the dial, which is Tudor’s equivalent of Rolex’s ‘PERPETUAL’. The movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker.
